Why have I not been blogging much?
I'm lazy.
Apparently Google and Blogger have merged. I joined Blogger with my yahoo address. So now I have to sign out of Gmail before I can sign into Blogger. I shouldn't be as annoyed about it as I am...if you know how to fix that so that it's not so annoying, please let me know, it will maybe help me to blog more frequently. :)

I just wanted to share a student response to an essay I'm grading. The question has to do with how we use energy to make our lives more comfortable. One student's paper begins:
"We use energy in many ways to make are lives better. I use elastic energy to keep my pant legs up if they are too long."

Seriously? That's the FIRST example that comes to your mind??
